Weekend Trip to Sparta
Conor had such a good time visiting Grandpa and Grandma this weekend in Sparta. He got to ride the tractor, visit with the cows, eat fried chicken and biscuits, and play with Grandpa's train set. Mommy and Conor had a wonderful relaxing weekend. But look at this place, how could you not relax here!

Sparta is in the mountains of Western NC. We live off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The view from the deck is the elevated Parkway.
Sparta is about 75 miles west of Winston-Salem. Ten miles from the Virginia border (Independence, VA). Thirty miles from Galax, VA. An hour and 15 north of Boone, NC. Three and a half hours from Raleigh/Durham.
